The February 7, 2016 Time Machine contest features the following question:
How many times will the word “euro” appear in World News at 3 pm CT March 24, 2016?
If you have access to an actual time machine, simply travel to March 24th and retrieve the answer. If not, here are some tips to help ascertain the correct answer:
1. Go HERE.
2. Use the “find” option on your Web browser (in Safari, it’s Command-F), enter the word “euro” and see how many times it finds the word on the page.
3. Do this daily to get an idea of how many times the word appears each day. Once you feel you know, make your entry.
Note: Any word or name that contains “euro” also counts. Examples: words like “European” or articles from the Voice Of Europe.
